928 Yishun Laksa - Best laksa in the NORTH

Located under a block in Yishun, this old-school eatery has been serving the same bowls of laksa for over a decade and many still revisits this place for its affordable and quality bowl of noodles.

LAKSA ($2.80)
At only $2.80, the laksa comes with your noodle of choice, tau pok, fish cake slices, cockles, half a boiled egg, doused in laksa gravy and topped with sambal and laksa leaves. The blood cockle were plump and juicy, but you can swap it for crabsticks for those who dislikes it.

The flavorful gravy sets the basic foundation to this bowl of laksa. Enriched with luscious coconut milk and dried shrimp for that salty note, the light gravy complimented well with the chewy vermicelli noodles and tau pok that soaks up the gravy like a sponge. Paired with their fragrant sambal chili with an intense dried shrimp flavor, the dish is complete.

Do drop by here whenever you are in the area, and savor in one of the neighborhood's favorite laksa stall.
